Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula, Jodi retired from a 20 year plus military career during which she traveled the world before finishing her career in Lansing. Steve retired from a larger investigative firm to focus on providing services to those who are looking for professional investigative services in the Upper Peninsula. A unique geographic Peninsula, mostly bordered by water and famously attached to the rest of Michigan by the “Mighty Mac” Mackinac Bridge, the telephone area code for the entire U.P. is (906)….hence the reference in our company name and logo…

Our business is located in the central U.P. within a couple hours driving distance to any point on the Peninsula. Totally irrelevant yet notably Yooper, our rural and remote office is 100% operated off grid entirely powered by solar during the summer months with diesel generator backup during the cloudy winter months……you’ll not find an investigative firm able to make a more Yooperish claim and we may be the only off-grid private investigative firm in the country!
